Job Description

Directs and coordinates activities of department, or specific function of financial institution by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates or other employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

                        Member Service:

                        Reviews daily deposits and withdrawals for CTR / BSA compliance and credit union policies.
                        Reviews / audits currency activity for all aspects of credit union operations.
                                    Reviews and processes member service inquiries and disputes. 
                        Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly balancing of corporate accounts, share drafts,                                                              ACH, ATM, Debit cards, etc.
                        Responsible for daily balancing of G/Ls
                                    Processes and reviews incoming and outgoing wires.
                        Reviews and initiates payment of Accounts Payable.
                                    Reviews and initiates collection of Accounts Receivable.
                                    Conduct monthly teller audits
                                    Responsible for Iron Mountain Archives
Analyzes operational reports and submits activity reports.
Compiles and reports financial data in accordance with government guidelines.

Works on special projects and assignments as directed by Supervisor / Sr. VP.   

Has no supervisory responsibility.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure documents.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Must be bondable 
Must have a valid Texas driver’s license
Must have good credit.
