BSA/AML/OFAC Analyst

Job Description

Bank in Galveston is looking for a BSA/AML/OFAC Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring bank-wide activity to ensure that BSA/AML program is in place and adhered to. 

Primary Duties:
  • Conduct risk assessments and investigate suspicious activity concerning high risk accounts and customers
  • Produce high quality BSA related reports and forms for follow up of risk reviews and investigations
  • Assist with OFAC and CIP monitoring and review of all investigation files
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of banking experience
  • Knowledge of banking functions and regulatory compliance is preferred
  • Basic understanding of banking operations and data processing systems
  • Excellent deductive reasoning skills, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a self starter with demonstrated organizational skills and abilities
