About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support a critical FIS Conversion Reconciliation project. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your accounting expertise within a dynamic banking environment.Â
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness during the system conversion.
Process journal entries related to the FIS conversion and daily banking operations.
Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist in preparing reports and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless data migration and reconciliation.
Support additional accounting tasks as needed during the project.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (required).
Banking industry experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliations and journal entry processing.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
