As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for flawlessly executing daily/weekly production plans for machining and polishing metal components. Key Responsibilities:
Execution Excellence: Execute daily/weekly production plans with precision, ensuring adherence to established processes for machining and polishing metal components.
Problem Resolution: Identify and address any issues that may arise during the machining process, taking corrective action promptly. Keep the Operations Manager informed of any challenges and collaborate on effective solutions.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain a seamless production flow. Foster excellent teamwork and internal customer relationships to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and monitor machine output regularly. Identify and address any flaws or issues to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize your technical machining knowledge to program, set up, and calibrate CNC machines. Operate machine tools for drilling, milling, and grinding with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a positive, fair, and consistent culture by staying current with OSHA regulations, minimizing scrap, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent GED (required)
2-3 years of proven manual and CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in robotic automation and metal coating industry (preferred)
Completion of a relevant machinist apprenticeship program (plus)
Vocational training on CNC programming and operation (plus)
Valid Driver’s License with a strong driving record (required)
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Excellent teamwork and internal customer relationship qualities
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Strong basic math skills for precise measurements
Proficient in CNC programming, setup, and calibration
Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation
