As a Member Service Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our members and potential members, guiding them through their banking needs. You’ll perform essential transactions while delivering top-notch service that sets us apart. Key Responsibilities:
Assist members in opening and closing various deposit accounts.
Provide detailed information about our products and services, resolving inquiries and issues.
Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
Sell money orders, official checks, and traveler’s checks to members.
Transfer funds between member accounts as directed.
Maintain and balance your cash drawer daily.
Proactively cross-sell our credit union products and services to enhance member satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year as a Teller in a financial institution.
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Skills:
Strong customer service orientation.
Proficiency with a 10-key calculator and touch typing on a computer keyboard.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Effective verbal communication skills.?
