Job Description

Credit union needs a Lead Teller! This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Will primarily operate as a Teller, but is also responsible for providing assistance to Tellers on complex functions as needed
Assist in training new Tellers s necessary
Observe Teller Supervisor duties and perform delegated assignments in an effort to acquire Teller Supervisor skills and knowledge
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments. Act as vault teller as needed.
Sells money orders, gift cards, and processes cash advances for members and guest members.
Maintains and balances cash drawer daily.
Ensure drawer is balanced daily.
Assist members and guests in all functions in accordance with established procedures.
Strive for posting accuracy, and to provide administrative support as assigned.
Help maintain cohesive staff sufficient to meet daily department needs.
Provide informed and professional assistance to all members and associates.
