In this role, you'll be the linchpin in our client's loan department, managing everything from wire approvals to loan documentation and processing. Your expertise will contribute directly to the efficiency of operations, particularly for commercial loans and HELOCs.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Processing & Documentation: Input and approve wires, process loan payments, book new and renewed loans, and maintain accuracy in loan documents for commercial and consumer products.
Compliance & Exception Reporting: Administer the Loan Compliance Program under the direction of the EVP - Chief Credit Officer, and monitor exceptions to ensure regulatory and company standards.
General Ledger & Account Reconciliation: Reconcile loan general ledger accounts, process ORE and recovery payments, and manage charge-offs.
Customer & Third-Party Coordination: Complete credit inquiries, prepare early disclosures, and handle payoff quotes and loan billing statements. Prepare and approve HUD settlement statements before closings.
Additional Duties: Open and close the branch and manage dual control at the vault.Â
Ideal Qualifications:
Experience:Â Previous recent experience in loan documentation and funding is highly desired.
Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Accuracy is key, as you'll verify scanned documents, order lien searches, and prepare attorney engagement letters.
Team Player with Versatility: As part of a small team, you’ll wear many hats, taking on responsibilities that cross different areas.
Strong Communication Skills: You’ll work with our customers, legal professionals, and internal departments to streamline processes and maintain top-notch service.
