Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our property assets. From routine maintenance to urgent repairs, you’ll be hands-on with a diverse range of tasks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Routine Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment, conduct routine maintenance tests, and keep our workshop area in top condition.
  • Repairs and Replacements: Order and replace supplies like doggie pots and liners; assist with concrete, irrigation, storm drain, and asphalt repairs.
  • Pressure Washing: Conduct pressure washing of various surfaces including boardwalks, signs, and benches to keep our property looking pristine.
  • Installation and Repairs: Install and repair signs, paint signs and curbs, and perform various other tasks to maintain property aesthetics.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work orders and task completion, and ensure all files are up to date.
  • Team Support: Assist other employees as needed and be ready to take on additional assignments as required.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and 24-hour emergency on-call.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet. Working knowledge of automotive mechanics, electrical circuits, wiring electronics, hydraulics, and relevant hand tools.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, contribute to a positive customer experience, and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Problem-Solving: Attention to detail, problem identification, and quality control.
  • Management Skills: Ability to work well with supervision, manage multiple tasks, and follow company policies and SOPs.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50-60 pounds, load/unload large equipment/tools, access confined spaces, and continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses may vary by site.
