Job Description

Primary Duties:

Assist members with opening and closing all types of accounts
Process wire requests
Handle card issues, disputes, stop payments and all other member service functions
Answer questions about products and services and resolve problems
Interview member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition; provide loan application to Loan Officer for completion
Acts as member's advocate in offering credit union products and services
Assist members with opening, changing, closing and accessing safe deposit boxes in branches where service is offered
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1 – 3 years of teller experience in a financial institution
1 year of experience opening checking and savings accounts in a financial institution
A high school diploma or GED required
Customer service focus
Excellent computer and verbal and written communication skills
