Job Description


Reputable Houston-based Credit Union looking for a Member Service Representative to join their team! This is a full-time opportunity. 

Primary Duties:
  • Assist members with opening and closing all types of accounts
  • Process wire requests
  • Handle card issues, disputes, stop payments and all other member service functions
  • Answer questions about products and services and resolve problems
  • Interview member loan applicants to develop information concerning their loan needs, earnings, and financial condition; provide loan application to Loan Officer for completion
  • Acts as member's advocate in offering credit union products and services
  • Assist members with opening, changing, closing and accessing safe deposit boxes in branches where service is offered
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • 1 – 3 years of teller experience in a financial institution
  • 1 year of experience opening checking and savings accounts in a financial institution
  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • Customer service focus
  • Excellent computer and verbal and written communication skills
