What You'll Do:
  • Member Assistance: Provide exceptional service by assisting with opening and closing deposit accounts, answering questions, and resolving issues.
  • Financial Transactions: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Product Sales: Offer and sell a variety of financial products, including money orders, gift cards, and traveler's checks.
  • Safe Deposit Services: Manage safe deposit box operations and assist members with accessing their boxes.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate member records, balance cash drawers, and perform miscellaneous tasks like handling mail and typing.
  • Advocacy: Act as a champion for credit union products and services, ensuring our members receive the best possible experience.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum of six months of Teller experience in a financial institution or equivalent heavy cash handling experience.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. Proficient in 10-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
  • Attributes: Courteous, tactful, and diplomatic when interacting with members.

Requirements:
  • Availability: Must be available to work Monday - Friday from 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM and 2 Saturdays a month from 7:45 AM to 1:00 PM. If scheduled to work on a Saturday, you will have the preceding Wednesday off.
  • Dependability: Maintain a reliable record of attendance and punctuality.

Since 2007, she has volunteered and held leadership positions with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee on the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Committee, demonstrating her commitment to supporting local traditions and events. Rebecca was also a member of The Junior League of Houston for 10 years, giving her the opportunity to volunteer and serve a variety of groups in the Houston community. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and spending the day on the golf course.
