Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Accuracy Master: You'll post daily journal entries, balance general and subsidiary ledgers, and meticulously reconcile bank transaction accounts. Your keen eye will catch discrepancies, ensuring our financial data remains impeccable.
  • Team Support: Step in to assist your team with administrative tasks, posting accounting entries, and providing invaluable support as required.
  • Reporting Expert: Channel your expertise into generating critical monthly reports, including the Charge Off Report, PPL Pricing Report, Share Impact Report, ALCO Loan Report, and Statistical Report.
  • File Guardian: Maintain the organization's financial integrity by flawlessly organizing files, including the general ledger journal and other important documents.
  • Balance Guru: You'll be responsible for balancing shares, loans, and suspense accounts daily. In case of any discrepancies, your research prowess will shine as you resolve issues swiftly.
  • Asset Steward: Monthly processing and balancing of prepaid and fixed assets will be your domain, ensuring our financial landscape is consistently maintained.
  • Compliance Sentinel: Uphold compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining ethical standards.

Your Toolkit:

Experience: Your five or more years of experience in a similar role speaks to your financial acumen. Previous Credit Union accounting experience and familiarity with Symitar is a bonus.

Education: Financial/Accounting degree is not required.
